PWC questions

Just got informed I won a sealed bid auction on a 2004 Sea Doo GXP Supercharged PWC.

Any experts tell me what to look out for?
Things to check?
Maintenance tips?

It was a rental at the base Outdoor Rec and they never let the "power key" go out with the PWC on a rental.
Exactly what does the "power key" do?
I'm told it's ~125 HP.
Other than that I'll find out more tomorrow.

It looks like this one..... only not quite as clean, yet.

they have 2 keys. 1 is for limited power and for breakin which does not allow full power of the engine. "power key" wakes it up

Kinda like the difference between a stock truck and a smarty loaded onto it

Finally got her all checked out, serviced, and clean.

Now the wait for the state registration............ and a good weather to hit the water.

The difference in revs climbing between the "Learning" key and the "Hot" key is
.................................................. .................................................. ........

I can't IMAGINE what dropping the hammer on 215 hp in a PWC is going to feel like.
but I'll make sure I bring a change of shorts
The dude at the marina said he had it to 75mph on the Potomac......once

In VA you can take the bill of sale and title to Wallyworld and get a temporary registration, good for 30 days. bring it down to southern VA and I'll let you try my 260 hp RXT-X.
