Yes. Any common router you buy nowadays will "network" the computers together and have built in switching capability.

ok I set up a network but only one puter sees the other two. And I can not get them to share printers or docs. Any Ideas.

You have to enable print and file sharing. Doing this can cause security problems. I ran a network for years and since the USB sticks came out I shut it down, now we just load onto the memory stick and move from one puter to another or email if not too big.

I enabled sharing when I set it up. It is a home network so security is a minor issue.
Thanks

Make sure DHCP is enabled on the other two computers. Can find it in the network properties.

Can you go into the router properties and see the systems connected?

Did you enable file and print sharing on every machine?
Did you set a specific folder as shared?
Are all of the machines running XP?
Also do you have any type of VPN installed on any of the machines?
What about a firewall?
Running any type of firewall?

try turning off all software firewalls. Your router will protect your network from the outside world.
