I watched this auction during the last 20 minutes...I just cant believe people will spend that kind of money on THAT.....

 

yeah I was going to go tonight and wait till 8 am tomorrow to get one, but people started waiting Yesterday! afternoon outside bestbuy.

 

Got to be kiddin me...

 

These folks are absolutley crazy...but who am I to judge. I'll wait outside in the snow for two hours for good seats to the OSU Mens Basketball game, but these gamers are (fill in your own words)!!!!!!!!!!

 

People waiting and wasting time to buy a toy that also wastes time. Huh guess that is why we are fat!

 

I am SURE glad to hear that I thought it was the donuts and I don't wanna give those up

 

I went to walmart this morning 7:30 and ther were already a half of dozen people sitting outside in lawn chairs with sleeping bags, i assume they were waiting for the PS3

 

Yeah, I've seen you sitting outside the breakroom waiting for me to open it up in the AM, just so's you can get the first shot at the sprinkly donuts!

I think I'd rather go spend time with a nice woman. Ya know, nice dinner, wine, dancing etc. Seems much more fun to me than waiting outside for a video game. But hey, that's me.

 

Well you need to realize that 95% of them would to but they can't.

It's almost as dumb as when the "Tickle Me Elmo" craze was around. People spending $1,000 bucks on a retarded stuffed doll that giggled.........hmmm no thanks!! Plus people were waiting in line to get them things too. And people call ME weird..........SHEEEEESH!! LOL

It is funny this came up because yesterday I went Bestbuy to get a camera and I was in my truck when I pulled in all of those curb monkeys saw me and started ooohing and ahhing at me, I looked over and asked them if some new star wars movie was coming out? A couple of them came walkin over to the window all excited and where like "no dude were waiting for the ps3 cool huh dude ya man you want to join us oh comeon dude it fun dude cmon" . My dad was with me and I was moking them and they diden't know it the whole time my dad kept mumbeling don't you smoke them don't do it Jared don't do it.

 

Keep in mind, some of the ridiculously high bids will never be paid. People are making new accounts, then bidding up the item to ruin someone else's day.

However, the one shown there appears to have a legitimate bidder. Crazy, especially considering you will be able to get them at retail price in a couple months...
