Slev - quite possibly. I jumped darn near 4 ft in the air when that magneto hit me. When I jumped and let go of the spark plug wire the pain stopped. I wish this was the only experience I had ever had with spark plug coils. Maybe that is why I got a diesel....

1-I did work with a guy who thought it would be a good idea to melt the ice off of a electric fence wire. Obviously, in a very small fraction of time following the decision to try, he proved it was a bad idea, and the week off of work not being able to walk, sit, lay down, or shed tears when he cried, reinforced the notion of it being a bad idea even further.
