ive seen them pulling large loads, but gas killers.. i have not seen one with really high mileage, thats one, and two, they sound wicked on straights or flows...

DTR's Cow Boss
I tow extreamly heavy with mine and its held up extreamly well. I tow two to five tons of hay and have had no problems and my horse trailer is a 26' goose neck stock trailer. Only thing I have had to do is I had a HD auto tranny built to match my power chip and I have had the fuel pump out of it @ 92,000. Other than that I am about to enter to the relm of redoing my front lower and uper ball joints and fix a cracked exhaust manifold. As for the manifold it was doe to a factory warped manifold ever since I have owned the truck the manifold kept loosing up so i checked the block it was fine and the manifold was tweeked. Fuel milage is not swell but I can live with it so I kept driving it like i stole it! Some things to consider checking into also when the last tune up was done its amazing how much more pep you get back after you give her a fresh new set up plugs wires and a new cap and rotor.

Thanks for all your help, we're sorting out finances and thinking for the long-term. Too bad we can't just purchase a church building instead. I'll keep you all up-to-date as we get closer to a decision.
