This is not really that new. I had my account hijacked over two years ago. Pay attention to your account regularly even if you are'nt selling or watching anything. And if you see listings that are not yours contact ebay, But DONT do it through your account this important because the hijacker already has control of your account and if you are,nt already shut out you soon will be. Plus it tips them off that they have been discovered and the already slim chance that they will get caught dissappears. Most important thing don't send large ammounts of money to anyone, pay when you pick it up.

 

It is hitting Americans as well, a good friend had his hijacked about a year ago, and I almost bit on a Kubota tractor deal, except the person who hijacked the account left the correct email addy for the original user. I contacted him with a question and he had no idea it had been hijacked!
