might be selling my truck...

probably going to cut a buddy a good deal on my truck pretty soon...

I finally got a real job, and I'm on the road 99% of the time, so the truck is just sitting... I HOPE to be on the road for the better part of a few years, so I'm just unloading a bunch of stuff that's just taking up space.

hopefully after a while on the road, I'll be able to buy my own place (or a very large percentage thereof) AND a nice truck... spend the better part of a year building a shop, remodeling the house, and tinkering on the truck, and then hop back on the road for a few more years and see where it takes me

living out of a suitcase and saving every penny,

Forrest

Congrats on the new job! Too bad you have to sell your truck though.

Your thinking of the future is probably the right thing to do.

my dream truck is a white 98 12v QC SB 4x4 5sp w/ rubber floors and manual windows!

but I'll admit, I've been looking at early (no cat) 3rd gens lately...

the chances of finding the 98 12v are slim... I like longbed trucks, but getting a club cab long bed up to the cabin might be tough! and it's GOTTA be white! (or maybe forest service green )

oh well, this is all a ways ahead in the future...

I'm doing contract work for Seimens. Hope to get hired on perm before too long

installing and updating machines at various locations... easier than working on cars and pays a LOT better!

I'm sure I'll drop in now and then, and I log in regularly to see if I have any new PM's, so feel free to message me... but I don't spend 8hrs a day on the internet anymore, so I won't be "seen" around here as much

well, it's gone...

didn't even get to drive it one last time...

oh well, I hope my buddy will enjoy it as much as I did... that little 97 was by far the best vehicle I've ever owned.
