The Man
Thank you all just reading the replies on this post makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up, in a good way. I would like to give a special and HUGE thank you to all the people that started and run this site without you this site would just be another website but what is here is truly blessed and alot of awsome people.
I would like to start a DTR chapter in Madison Wisconsin or Wisconsin if one has not been started but I am not sure what it would take
thank you all for your time and compassion and god bless each and everyone of you, for he has risen

Unfortunately, I'm not religious...just kinda in limbo.
At about 6 or 7 I decided watching football was the thing to do on Sundays, and I've been doing that for the past 22 years or so.
Growing up in UTAH, you're so pressured to be Mormon, I just couldn't take it. I'm happy with life, treat everyone good etc.
If there is a Heaven, hopefully I've earned my spot.

To all who read this, Limbo is not a option. Sent you a pm Padzz. And to all who are in {limbo}, I lived my life that way for over 30 years and I am obliged to tell you that limbo is not a option there is only two choices, The choice to let him lead is the hardest one to make and the hardest one to live, but I can testify that it is the most important choice you will ever make, I do not claim to be or have superior knowledge of God or any religion, I just had to pick up His written word and read it myself, that is the most important standpoint I can make is do it on your own and do not let anyone or any organized group tell you how to believe read it yourself and pray to Him to guide you thru the Bible and I promise you if you do it purposley and with a devotion to learn about Him, He will reveal Himself to you one on one. Some might say a kid that age doesn't understand salvation. I understood it and knew I needed it. I have never looked back - - lived it my whole life and couldn't be happier. I don't hope I will make it - - I know. I followed the guidelines in the Book. It has been a fantastic journey.Bob

Its just like what Charles Stanley said on his radio program this morning, " The bible says "God gave his only begotten Son to die for your sins so that you could have everlasting life",,,,,, it doesnt say, "God gave his only begotten Son to die for your sins, and you have to do this............to have everlasting life."
My church has an early service, 8:00am, to accomotdate the large numbers of people we have. So I go to the early service, and sunday school, and I am home by 10:00. This give me plenty of time to prep for a football game since they all start @ 12:00.
I guess im fortunate in that department. If we didnt have it, then I would just live with it. In eternity, missing the first quarter of a football game doesnt carrry much weight as an excuse not to go.
And if you ever develop a love for the Lord, missing a football game to serve him wont bother you.
Good reading:
