one man's woes=another man's worries
i found this post over at dodgetruckworld.com, and was wondering what all of you brilliant folks thought about it. i'm currently contemplating on which system (banks, tst, edge,etc...) to go with, and this post doesn't leave a good taste in my mouth. i'll post the link, but i THINK that you may have to be a member to view the post, so i'll also cut and paste the text.
Blowed Up CTD

Here's a few pics of what Scheid sent over. They've been forwarded to Banks for review. Notice the chunk of the valve missing. Scheid said it got burnt so bad it became brittle and broke. Ouch. The piece did some damage to the piston and to the cyclinder. (these pics are the #5 piston) I'm waiting on the rest of the photos. Supposedly there's scoring in the 2, 3, 4, & 6 pistons & cyclinders as well. And most of the valves are burnt crisp. Still waiting on Banks. My lawyer told me to wait a few more days or a week or so to see if they actually say no. Then we'll do it the hard way. They have the tuner that was in the truck as well as these photos. We'll see. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Trying to blame that on Banks is stupid!!! As they say, you Play you pay!!! Banks is not at fault, the guy who didn't watch his EGT is at fault. If you mod your truck, be prepared to pay the price....

I agree with the you play you pay, but that system is also suppose to have a derate anytime your egt reaches 1350 degrees . I think Banks has some responsibily here also .

Would you like some jelly on that TOAST! I think you have to get the speed loader option with the six gun to get that EGT control. If he had it, Banks should be the warranty station here, IMHO.
