Almost bunkie time for Davey

Prudent student capped the midnight oil, and jumped into bed and covered up her head. I ain't gonna be far behind.

Old Dog, when you get the 'puter back up and running, after a reformat and reload of the OS. Don't load the games. See how it runs. Some very old stuff will not run on a NTFS and newer CPU's. Learned that the hardway.
On the oil prices. $0.15 today will buy you a cup of what, coffee, no, a soda, no, crude oil yes.

FO, you can sit at your computer, feet on the desk, eating bon-bons and play computer games while you co-worker in Norway is working hard. Your are the brain, co-worker is the smart hands. Me, I have mostly been the smart hands, some times the brain. Been on a few all nighters.
Usually it was not a problem at the site I was at. Software or hardware somewhere else.

I jobb, meetings are part of the job, just stay awake. Don't think I will go the castor oil cure. They were a lot of SPCA always at Calgary. They have tried to shut the race down for years.

PW where are you working now? I missed it. Grubb situation don't sound inviting. Man could starve there.

Don't know what tomorrow will bring, kiddlet home sick? Will I have to pick up the kidlett at the think tank?

Oh well, find out when I get there,

Have a good un, and be safe out there.

the clang, clang you might hear is my beady little eyes slamming shut.

Wink safe to come in now...

long day of unproductivity.....but got better!

son is transforming in to a human. very nice to be around. clean room and asked for a haircut, he shaved (19 but looks 34) and bought new clothes.
all from a bit of experience (he screwed up, then pushed on, without legal counsel) paid the price. let him learn about the world on his own. experience pays, he saw the error of his ways and laid out a plan for himself. Hopefully, I can get his record sealed so he can get a job.

He has to address the ADA and judge. (judge wanted to have him declared a youthful offender at that time) it is up to the ADA to agree. hopefully, this will hit him on a good case day.....

haircut at midnight= 10 bucks

a son's hug of appreciation afterwards and laughing- priceless

I love to see someone "get it", that moment when they had the choice and went with the right thing. and were sorry they failed the first time.

Old Dog, I don't want that re booted! heheh

L jobb, ya I have to search the net...whatever the RCMP would have in an event. (musical ride?) I just don't know what all is involved.....

Have fun Davey and GEICO!!! my two QTs...... I almost bought a 1967 E20 shark project with all parts EXCEPT main rotor blades.....25,000 bucks.
now I know why the project went for 4999.00....but I would have loved to restore it! better than a robinson 22......ah well.

Heidi in NY who better get her butt in bed...

Night shift is on board and all secure.....

looking for slow night.. my Monday, and no sleep prior to coming to work.
had a delivery supposed to be at teh house before 1500, didnt show untill 1630 and then managed to sink his truck in my drive way..why they sent a 65foot semi to deliver 1200 lbs pallet that fit in the back of my truck is beyond me..
I drove the pick-up up to the rear , we slid the pallet out into the bed and I left him there.. he was gone by the time I left for work, buit he sure tore teh heck out of my drive, actually the part of 'my drive" that is a city street...so teh city can repair it! It needed a few loads of rock dumped on it anyways.

off to check the outhouses...later

Got to get time sheets in this morning even if some of the troops ain't in yet. They got 30 minutes or they getting charged a days leave.
Davey, we are looking at around the 11th. Don't know if I'll be making the trip or not. Got another project down south that carries a bit higher priority. I'll keep ya posted on the whens and ifs.

Morning, coffee's extra schmecky today.
Busy with crashes everywhere...best gomer pyle voicesurprise surprise surprise...

Hey Scott, chapter 4... t-case is done, front bearing we warned them about turned into both bearings. They said, since the assessor couldn't assess them due to the t-case being out, as they directed, they now need to come assess... I said, sure take your time, you WILL be covering the rental, even if you need to send a rep up to Lake County Circuit court to tell the judge you don't want to pay the bill, plus, I work weekends, that is not down time for ME. That will be part of the rental bill. Might be cheaper to aprove the repair, but yo udo what you think you need to do.
Anyway, didn't want to take the rental to M.P., so I spent yesterday finishing up my pheasant coop. Should have some birds tonight.

Morning all. Quick fly by to say hello and grab a cup. Busy fellow today. Working, get home, pack up the pickup with all my junk in it. Go to work for a few hours tomorrow. Leave town around 11, stop upstate to drop off a windshield that another dealer bought from us, say hello and then get to camping. Excited. I need a break. Take care all, I'll try and catch up with ya'll tonight.

Gmornin everyone,
Popped in for some of that toxic coffee on my way out the door, after last night I hope it's good and strong today. The western front decided that it was entirely too quiet last night and had the crap so loud I could hear it in the shower at 230 this morning......I think they finally passed out around 4 or so this morning....talked to the cop shop today and while we are out of town they are gonna do a hard patrol of the area and keep eye's AND ear's open so mebbe they'll help with the situation.

Sometimes I wish I worked for one of the charter bus company's, I'm a mechanic for the St. Louis area mass transit system...it get's very interesting some nights trying to keep ahead of the latest trend in bus destruction by both the bus drivers and the pasengers...best thing about it is that our fleet is 100% cummins to I have tons of toys to experiment with

Okay, my work here is done. I'll be sitting in the corner waiting for the Marines, HT's, DC's, and Coasties, to show up.

This is gonna hurt.
The HT contingent won't beat you up too much, we understand that the cutting oils and solvents from your lathes etc. get into your brain and effect your judgement. It's just a shame that everyone couldn't be a HT but then there's life.

Off to busland.....everyone have a good afternoon.

Speaking of which, I've always wondered WHY the CG has Stations on Lake Michigan. What are they 'guarding' us from, Wisconsin? Michigan already took half their land and called it the 'UP', I don't think they're much of an issue!

That's ok, just didn't know if something else came unglued! Sounds like you're handling the idiots just fine. I love it when someone says, "We won't do that" and I think to myself, "Oh yes you will, you just don't know it yet!"
