Morning, coffees ready. Looks like shortround beat me by about a half hour. Hate wakeing up before the alarm. Worst decision of the day, do I lay here and try doze off, not falling asleap til 1 minute before the alarm goes off, or just get up?

Claude, jeeps running good. Just have to think about an alignment now the hubs have been replaced, got a little pull. I'm not worried about the repair in the least. They'll warranty it for a year knowing darn well what kind of mileage I put on it. Even after a year, he'll take care of ya the best he can. The ext. warranty company wanted him to install the new chain and shift fork and piece it together with the old parts. He told them if they thought they could find a mechanic that would work like that somewhere, he'd throw everything in a box for them and do it themselves. I'm still out a couple hundred on a $1900 bill, including the front hubs, but I'm looking into a full recovery except for a few reasonable days towards the car rental. OBTW, none of the bearing they wanted to reuse were any goo, the chain had stretched so much it wore through the top of the pick up tube, so it wasn't pumping like it should.

Heidi, it looks like I can probably get the 10th off. If something comes up that you can't add the extra mileage (like my luck with vehicles rubbing off on you), I'm off the 9th and can slide down to Scotts also.... with Claude in the trunk...

Sometimes starting slow gets more done. Think steam engine. You start your weekend too fast, it'll be gone and seem like it never happened, makeing for a tougher work week.

Yeah I miss it! One reason I didn't trust a ride to MP, I suspected the brakes weren't kept up on it. It was confirmed on the way to turn it in when the fronts started grinding some. He must've bent up the indicators. At least it wasn't an Astro though. Out plowing til about 11 last night, start to drag hiney already..

Mornin all

Dang coyotes were howling last couple of nights. Breeding season don't you know. Got up to yell at them, opened the door to the balcony (2 story) and they were right under it. Sure took off when I started hollering at them. Dog was going nuts barking and howling.

SR jump all over that new position, few extra $$$ a month in retirement never hurt anybody.

Hat good to see you made it back without any tales of destruction on the roadways.

Chaikwa you don't need to watch sewing show just go buy some speed sew. That will get you through any major project that you want to do. Even if you have to let out your prom jeans so they fit again.

Time to go for a workout this AM. Don't want to buy a different size jean for me either.
