Old Dog- it is a early 1946 ****** CJ 2a. the small 2" inch or so , round parking lights are up front either side of the radiator grill down near the bumper. flat glass with clear lens but frosted around its perimeter. single screw hole on bottom, bezel mounted.
(NOT the beehive style for later jeeps)

T Rad wanted to know who ***** was- I Pm'd him the answer.....

I have been addicted to brown sugar beef jerky....so glad we have Amish folk around here. I am also glad they live far enough away that I can't walk there to beg for more......terrible terrible...

Can ChrisR get DTR in the horse trailer? tough week for him, let's send him some breakfast or something. i HOPE those brownies were prepared right!

Well, Night shift has been here, got busy right out the box.... drunk looking for a cab thinking our gate phones would call one...at least he wasnt driving, but he aint the sharpest cheese.

Coffee is on, haz-mat cert required..........
Heidi, no DTR in teh trailer, but it doers have a heater, bed and coffee-maker, so I am ok..

Not much moving otherwise. holiday routine in effect for the day-shift.

Whoa, doesn't anybody sleep around here. All this hollerin and carryin on at this time of the mornin - - comeon people, you got me out of bed with all the noise.

Moving around the room - - feeling for something like a coffee pot - - ouch - - that was hot, maybe coffee - - give me coffee - - someone help me - - coffee - - please. Ahhhhhhh . Well, I think it's coffee.

Chris - - behave yourself - - eat some pie and go home. Just thinkin aboucha. Hang in there.

Heidi - - eating jerky - - now somehow that doesn't fit. Wonder why?

Well, I won't be sneaking in and stealing coffee for a while. DW and I will be iin the sky and heading out of here for about a month. Taking her over to Egypt to see all the sights and do a Nile river cruise. Be gone about a month and have no idea what we will have for internet. Soooo, you may see me, you may not. Should be fun - - been planning this one for a long time. Slip on over to Jordan and Israel while we are there and a little time in Paris on our way home. So, you kiddies be good while I am gone and take care of one another. Watch that sack under Old Goat - - I mean Old Dog and make sure it doesn't split.

Slept in till 0530. Noticed a faint glow to the east so I stayed up to see what it was. So that's what they call the sun!!!
