Well, back at it. Freezing rain today, lot's of roll overs. Sounds like our extended work schedule is safe once again, for now.
Scott, I'm off teusday and wednesday, what's the schedule like in Mt Pleasant? Evening classes? "bout ready for a steak dinner and a draft, the way the last couple weeks have been.

Mornin
Looks like this week might be a record breaker, 6 pages already and it's only Monday morning.
Hat how's the hand/wrist doing? Good you had some help with the WC. Now teach them how to aim and you won't have to use the Dremel on the rusted bolts next time.
Janitors new sign MY AIM IS TO KEEP THIS PLACE CLEAN YOUR AIM WILL HELP.
SR are those berries for eating or making wine or both? Did you find a press in Brazil or an old one in the states?
Weather is just plain nice. Going to a high of +2*C today. Better get at it this AM so we'll check in a bit later. Good coffee BTW.

Heidi, maybe these guy can help?

Pistol, get the 4x4 working? The earlier versions were vacuum actuated and the cold caused them to engage slow, could casue a problem if you're on an icy spot, spinning when it grabs finally. The earlier ones also were prone to disengage when too cold, like on a trail, slow going, then get left stranded. Constant road speed normally keeps the temp up to stay engaged. Might see if they make a posi-lok for your model yet? It's a bi-pass cable that connects to the axle-disconnect, bi-passing the vacuum stuff. Also allows you the option of engaging the transfer case low gear without the front axle, if needed. And you always know when the front is engaged. The system can malfunction and keep the front engaged at times, wearing out the cv shfts and everything else.

Mornin' all,
NW Houston, cool 57*F, mist and fog, visability down to a mile. Supposed to get warm 80's and sunny this afternoon. 5er and Bob will go out and bask at the turtle tank.
ChrisR good news on your home front. Making brownies is always a good sign.
SR you counting the days? Your still keeping busy, not operating in short timer mode.
DC good luck on the plan. With the help you are getting it should be an acceptable plan. Work is one of the things we graotta do sometimes. Like Ben Franklin said, "Early to bed, early to rise, until you have enuff money to do otherwise." Or something like that.
Got you on my list of people to visit the 3rd weekend in May on my way to Portland from Sun River.
HAT good
thanks. Got your job jar about empty so you can play with your truck? You got to work today
Old dog, don't hardly see any sleds like the ones we had as kids. All got tube or dishes to slid on now. Never see any one on a home made cardboard box sliding down the slopes. Dead cows I hear ya on having to pay, and they make the money. Like I was going to have a big redwood tree removed from the house in Seattle. Would have had to pay the company to cut the tree. And they would keep the lumber.
Chaikwa, enjoy your vacation. You should treat Redleg to the dinner and brew.
Redleg, wow you sure got a load of weather. No fun.
I Jobb on the other hand is having good weather for a change.
JBJarco, before I had a kid banker, everyone at a bank was a VP or a teller.
Tellers work, VPs, not sure what they did, now I know.
FO where you hiding? Or are you getting ready for your next work trip?
Got stuff to do. Later,
Have a good un and be safe out there.

Claude, we're presenting one of our programs at a conference on Juvenile Fire Setters.
No vacation.
Wish it was tho! I'd gladly treat Don to dinner... he must know the good places to go around there.

Fronty's probably out playing with the new saw.
Davey, he treats often enough.
Claude, the shower and furnace have been prime since late Saturday.
Scott, if any State Fire Marshall's are there, watch for Dale Hardy, I worked with him in Cadillac, one of the nicest guys. Greg Stromzand works our district here. I'll get ahold of you when I get my days planned out here.

Gotta keep busy. If I slow down and stop for long, the grease in my joints starts to solidify and it's hard to get moving again. Ain't got time for a short timers attitude. Too much work.
Still looking for a mill. Stateside ones are scarce as hens teeth and while not only old and in need of repair are also expensive, usually $2500 - $4000. South American ones are available in many sizes and price ranges. Just getting info, finding a manufacturer that exports directly/importer that doesn't charge an arm and a leg, and learning Spanish and Portugese is keeping me and the computer busy, in my spare time. Interesting thing is that some importers want to charge customs fees and import tariffs when there are none for agricultural machinery. I'll get there, one piece at a time.
Ordered 15 pounds of seed this morning. Three different varieties, 5 lbs each. $112.50. Should let me harvest from August to November. Good thing is I can save the seed from the crop and use next year.
Gotta git, equipment to pick up at shipping and recieving.
Shortround out

I wouldn't know their schedule, they just check in and out with us when headed to a fire scene. I know Dale does a lot of P.R. stuff, and instructs classes at the Kettunen Center, so I figured he might be around.
