LKQ junkyards are dead sexy - cash for clunkers!
our local LKQ used to have two rows of new arrivals just inside the gate,
there is now a "corral" of them in a big circle with C4C on the doors.
some neat cars, 2 jeeps, several chevy S10 variants (blazers & P'k'ups)
nothing exciting.
but LKQ is clean, and neat, cars are up welded stands (one rim flat, one standing up) so you can just reach in and work on what you need.
the ground is all very large cinders, so the water drains and you work on dry ground.
they have hoists, derricks, carts, wheelbarrows.
at the "U pull It" i went to in Nebraska/Iowa, you have to lay in the dirt & wet grass to pull your parts.
mustang door panels are $300 new, but $9.99 at LKQ.
i got 7mm interior screws yesterday, about a handful.
and a bracket i needed.
and speed clips to mount the door panels
for $17, i got a lot of small parts i needed, and the dealer no longer stocks.

LKQ has listings on ebay also.
I bought a Ranch Hand front bumper from them for like $98. It was located in Tx. (I think) and they shipped it to their location in Lawrence, Ks. for $75 on their truck. So I got the thing for $150. They ship from their locations to their locations very reasonably. So heavy items can be purchased knowing freight won't be a killer.
When I went to pick it up I noticed they have a clean, well organized yard. Prices were very fair. I'd buy from them any time.

I restore Mercedes W124's and other models in the MBZ line up as a hobby. I have spent a ton of money with LKQ. I have 6 cars under the knife now and every one of them has multiple parts from LKQ. LOL

dang, most of the stuff on thier site has a 6 month warranty.
that's pretty good.
ford stuff
it might be easier to buy online.
they post "new arrivals" on craigslist here, and you better be THERE that day if you want the good stuff.
