I have seen (on more than one truck) rhino liner coming off in chunks. After seeing that I wouldn't put anything down myself. I have also grown to appreciate the looks of a "work truck". I wouldn't want something that didn't look slightly abused.

I have a rhino, it doesn't hold up as well as a line-x, but it's stickier and things dont slide around as much

Another person that regrets getting a Rhino. Almost every time I drag something across it that has a sharp edge, it pulls up a good chunk.

They will "repair" it, but "repairing it" consists of cutting the rest of the chunk out and smearing some Rhino in a tube on with a putty knife. Plus, the lifetime waranty only applies at the location you had it done at. LineX is nationwide.

I agree that it does seem to keep things from sliding better than LineX, though.

I dont mind the sliding part because I tie everything in the bed down that really needs it! The Line-X seems to be the most durable for a work application. The rhino would be better for a bed that was going to be covered and store things!

I searched forums for a few hours before I decided on Line-X. Loved it. Wish I still had it ... got rid of my bed

I had line-x on my old 97 gasser, and let me tell you, it held up to anything I could throw at it. I put a small cultivator in the back of the truck one time, with the tractor. A couple of tines snapped off the culitivator, and nothing happened to the bedliner at all.

My stepdad had a rhino lining put in on his 99 gasser, and he absolutely hated it, made them go back, sand it all off, and re-do it. Still sucked, it would peel up in a heartbeat if you just nicked it.

Line-x is the best thing you can spend your money on, I'm going to do it to my truck once I get enough money.

The Rhino will fade quickly and the Line X will hold color and just as tough. I've had both and would never buy a Rhino again.
