Calling all Fireman,
I do a lot of night work and I am in the market for a good headlamp, I have a few expensive single 3 watt Luxeon units but the runtime is not long enough, the lumens drop off too rapidly as the batteries are depleted, so now I am ready to move into an external pack.

Have you ever heard of the Foxfury?
What kind of headlamps does your department use and are you satisfied with them. I am still in the looking phase right now so I am open to suggestions.
$340.00 for a lamp is on the steep side but not out of the question.

Sorry Jim never used one, all my lights are either carried clipped to my turnout coat (stream light), on the side brim of my helmet (pelican), and for longer duration tasks I have a Stream light Vulcan lightbox (60k c/p) with a large carrying strap that I carry over my shoulder.
