Will Sport Headlamps fit non sport?
Was thinking about putting Sport 4 lamp system in my 2 lamp '99
2500 front. Will this fit? I know the wiring's different but I've got that covered. I just need to know if the actual module will fit right in.
Thanks.

From what I've seen in this and other forums, the Sport headlight conversion should be a screw out - screw in swap with some necessary rewiring on all trucks 2001 and newer.
There might be some cutting involved in the earlier body styles as the Sport lamps sit in farther than the non-sport.
Ed
PS the lights themselves are pretty expen$ive.
Edit to add:
Check this thread for more info on what might be involved:

DOT lights are horrible, I love european lights as they shine so much better but still don't blind people. Now I'm not certain these are european code lights but they look a little different from sport to me. These will probalby be worth looking into.

Do you need the corners, or do our regular SLT corners fit?? I loved the lighting from my 2001 Sport 2500, hate going down to the 9004's only on my 2001 SLT 3500. I am thinking very seriously of upgrading to the Sport lighting if it isnt a difficult install, since I do a lot of driving at night and early morning. Maybe I can find a set of headlight buckets in a salvage yard, but if I don't need different corners, that would be cool!

I'm not certain but they list the corners for sports seperately and sell the corners with the headlights so I'd think it must be more than just looks. That same place sells sport corners for $44, maybe they can be found cheaper on eBay.

Try some new bulbs? Did you rewire the headlights? If I recall correctly a 1V difference at the bulbs double the light output. Perhaps it'd be worth a try to get this kit from Summit Racing, SUM890030 (sports are 9004 right?). At the very least your headlight switch will thank you! Also you may want to try some new Osram Silverstars or good bulbs like that (which aren't available in US).
