Don't know about the trick itself, but as for the second hit...It's a fake... look at the way his body bends when he supposedly gets hit... He followed the car in, (the car was backing up, and it is played in reverse). Sure looked impressive though (and looks like a really "smart" trick) .

I did a "print screen" right when the car hit,
opened it in "paint" and he was on the right side of the car,
it didn't even come close to him.
