First Kerry's clan and now Bush ...
want to come to Canada!
OTTAWA (CP) - U.S. President George W. Bush will make his first official visit to Canada on Nov. 30, sources say.
Details of the two-day visit were not immediately known, but Prime Minister Paul Martin has said his main issues with Bush are trade irritants such as mad cow and softwood lumber.
American sources suggest Bush isn't looking for too much from Canada. They say it's more reaching out to a traditional ally as part of a reconciliation tour of sorts in the wake of the Iraq war.
Bush is expected to discuss continental security, more help for Afghanistan and more training and nation-building help in Iraq.
Next thing you know Hoss will be coming north!

I was amazed, appalled and sometimes very mad watching Canadian TV while making our Maritime Provinces trip this summer. The people were so wonderful and friendly - - but the TV stations are from another continent. It was so neat to talk to the Canadians a little about politics. The Newfies and Nova Scotians were all pretty mellow and happy the way things are going. All people from Ontario and to the west were great and fully supportive. Now, take the bunch in between - - wow.
Sure had a great time. That is neat country. We are editing our pics from the trip - - wow, what great memories.

Hmmm, reading between the lines of those two responses maybe GW is coming north to agree that Quebec will become the 51st state if Canada commits to Iraq??!!
I think we'd maybe come out on top with that deal!

He's just trying to fast-track the citizenship papers for all the Hollyweird types and the rest of the Performers/Political Voices that swore they would leave the country if Bush won the election.
