We just brewed up a 10 gallon batch last weekend. It's in the fermenter right now. Should be ready sunday. Can't wait to taste it. I made a batch with fresh ginger root about 2 weeks ago. It's all fermented but I haven't had the time to bottle it yet. Any other home brewers here?
I was an avid brewer-awsome beer. Then my son came, I moved and bought a new house so I had to build a new Garage-----no time lately. I will get back to it some day!!

What is the percentage on your beer down there?

I know coors here is 4%, as withmost light beers , 3.5-4%

Real beer , such as alexander keiths , canadian , moosehead , etc , is 5%

Could be in Utah, everything is limited to 3.2%.

You have to go to the State Owned and Operated Liquor Stores to get anything stronger, including "real" beer.
Oh, and most of those stores close around 7pm, and none are open on Sunday or Holidays.

No 3.2% beer sales between 1am and 7am, some counties even lock them up completely on Sunday,
this goes for grocery stores and 7-11's as well.

If you guys want a good laugh- I live in a "DRY" county, the grocery stores cannot sell beer like in other counties, they can sell wine?? and it gets better-in my "dry" county-the state owned store has all the hard stuff you could ever imagine!! EVIL BEER

No alcohol sales before noon on Sunday's here in Texas. The baptists don't want everyone else beatin' them to the store

Yep, we now sell 8.5% or 9% at the Harris Teeter I work at, and now, the legal limit is somewhere around 15-16%. The beer distributors are working to get the stores to allow them to carry beer that is the legal limit.

Hey Buckshotmckee!!!!!!. Where are we having the DTR central coast chapter meeting at? May I make a suggestion ? Of course being the good guys we are we would help Spunbearing taste test his new batch and even chip in for the next batch.

Sorry for the slight highjack. Nice looking beer Brit !!!!
