Believe it or not... That is first one. If you buy the Guinness Draught (bottles with the "white" cap) it will work just right. They apparently have a nitrogen capsule in the bottle that acts like a "keg" which produces the perfect "Black and Tan".

Of course you need the "spoon" to go along with it.

Oh come on now.... I would agree with you on the Guinness Extra Stout. But have you tried Guinness Draught? It is a smooth, creamy beer without the bitter taste of Guinness Extra Stout.

Britt

P.S. Shiner Bock is a good "Cheap" beer also.

:)

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM Guiness!!!!
Your making me thirsty.

I have never noticed any "nitrogen" capsules in the guiness lines (Fosters does I think) but there is a "widget in the bottles and cans to make for a smoother pour and supposedly kill that excess head.

That;s what I call a thing of beauty!!!!! Well done!

Nicely done. When are we all invited over to partake in several of your Masterpieces?

Begle1 09-28-2005 08:31 PM

Hmmm...

I don't drink, so I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but is this "embedded nitrogen capsule" in anyway related to the Perfect Pour Pint for Places where Placement of a Pub is Prohibited?

Cheap. Haha. That's expensive beer when your in college my friend. $7-8 bucks for a 6 pack is expensive. Especially considering that you can get a case of coors for $15.

spunbearing 09-28-2005 09:26 PM

Yeah but Coors isn't beer so it doesn't count. haha
We just brewed up a 10 gallon batch last weekend. It's in the fermenter right now. Should be ready sunday. Can't wait to taste it. I made a batch with fresh ginger root about 2 weeks ago. It's all fermented but I haven't had the time to bottle it yet. Any other home brewers here?

dezeldog 09-28-2005 09:32 PM

T-7 that looked awfully good to me. The only thing wrong with the pic is that it is not in MY hand [laugh]
PS Maybe if I get to Arkansas sometime we could throw back a couple.
