how to stop theives
Well i let my girlfried use my truck yesterday while i was fixing hers and someoone broke into it last night at her house. its kinda weird because they only took my in dash dvd player, they left my cb fuel card a bunch of tools and even cash that was in my center concole. and they put the dash back together and taped up all the wires from the stereo they didnt break anything
how can i stop them from getting in. i think that they slim jimmed the door cause i left her house around midnight and checked and it was locked up. is there anything that i can do for cheep/free to stop or at least make it harder for someone to get in?

Hmm, put things back together and taped up the wires......
That would tell me that whoever did it wanted to be sure it could be driven safely..Who borrowed your truck?
An inside job if I ever heard of one..

Another easy way to deter theft is to not have eye catching goodies in sight, such as Dvd players and the like, they are nice, but in my experience they just invite prying eyes, even in nice neighborhoods.
Rig up some razor blades under the dash where you know they're going to reach. I can pretty much guarantee that they'll forget all about your DVD player when they start squirting blood.

I think that it was someone that knows me because i have left my truck at her house with it unlocked and the keys in it lots of times and no one has ever touched it, even if i stay the night there. Its really weird that the one time i am not there it gets broken into.
i have 5% tint on the windows so you really have to try to see inside, another reason i think it was someone that knows me.
and they really took there time i think that they knew they would not get caught and didnt want to break anything in my truck.
I have an idea of who did it but proving it is another story. i do not want to accuse unless i can be sure it was him
