I just turned around and looked at my stash. There are at least 1,500 rounds there, not counting a few bricks of .22. That ought to be enough for me to fight my way to Jesusland if the blue states secede.

Man...you guys are pretty serious. I've got about 70 rounds of .40 cal for my Glock, ten 00 buckshot for my 12 gauge and then a few .410 shells laying around. Oh wait...I can throw an additional 250 shotgun shells because I recently bought a case of bird shot for dove hunting. I can't imagine having 20,000 rounds of ammo at my house.

i used to shoot 700 to 1000 rounds a week when i was into uspsa and steel matches. and it is much easier to buy in bulk to keep the habit going. then when i got into 3 gun i had to gear up ammo wise to keep up with the big boys. then my wife got on my butt about how i have 3 kids and need to be home more[ man i hate it when she's right].

Hhhmm, I really like my Dillon XL650!

I still remember 10 years ago when we had the "primer and powder" rush. Now we have National Ammo Day! Who'd a thought.

Primer and Powder Rush - man that was something, I bought 5K Large Pistol, 5K Small pistol, and 1K Large Rifle Magnum primers....

....shot most of the Large Pistol up in competition, and have used about 700 of the Large Rifle -

- Hmmm, that reminds me, I seem to be runnin' LOW....

Man, I drove all the way to St.George, Utah from Vegas to go to a gun show for the sole purpose of buying primers during the big scare. And, all I could get were small rifle. Everything else was gone. Even people that didn't reload were buying powder and primers like crazy. Primers were a bit pricey during the "Rush". -Steve

I bought my RCBS progressive press off a buddy that upgraded to a 650 - schweet press.

I like to tinker w/edited for language so the RCBS suits me ok - gotta adjust it every 200-300 rounds though.

I need a digital scale and another tumbler - does that count? Got 15 lbs of various powders, thousands of slugs and empty brass - a few thousand loaded (30-30, 44mag, 44 spl, 40, 10mm, 223, 45 acp, 45-70, 380-don't own a 380 though..., 357mag, 308, 7.62x39, some 30-06 and a hand full of 50ae-don't own one of those either, various 12ga loads). These yankees up here rank me right up with the unabomber...

Former Marine, Texan...hhmmm...maybe they're having bell tower flashbacks.

What the heck is this FOId crap???? What's a FIB anyway

Like you said, a bunch of crap. Firearm Owners ID. Being in and around Chicago won't help you any. They have tighter gun control laws than the state or feds.
