I dont think Clinton did that bad of a job in office....even though I was in 2nd grade when he was elected and and sophmore in highschool when Bush was elected. shows what I know huh?

I dont think Bush did that bad of a job either...and I payed attention to what he did. nobody's perfect, but under the cercumstances...he definately did a better job than Gore or Kerry aka lurch would have done.
If gore would have been elected...guns would be outlawed by now
If kerry was elected we would have pulled out of iraq and afganistan immediately and they would be back to its old terrorist selfs again. and we would see another 9/11 in the near future.

I think a guy like Clinton would be good..I just dont like the liberal side of him. It goes against a lot of my belief.

Instead of all of us listing stuff we dont like, how bout we list something that we would like to be in our next leader.

That wasn't really a good site to link to in your quest to discredit Hilary. It showed that she had done a few good things and stated a few views that all of us could agree with. However, I would never take any thing she says or does to seriously because she seems to shift more than the wind. I know this is going to p/off a bunch of people but why not be more tolerant to abotion? It has legitimate purposes. That being said, I would never condone my gf or wife to have one. My main argument is that ITS NOT ON YOUR CONSIENCE AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE DECISION THE REST OF ETERNITY. Let the maker sort out what to do with those people. As far as Hilary in the white house, I'm headed with big blue and a bunch of my buddies to a foreign country, Mexico sounds so much better with its warm sandy beaches and pretty senoritas don't you think Blue??

I've read this entire thread with great interest as our political systems work very much differently. I use the word "work" incorrectly as your gov actually does things, ours (until this last election - time will tell soon) only made sure to fill their pockets and those of their friends with tax dollars and po'd the rest of the democratic world by doing, you guessed it, nothing, when something had to be done. My hope for the future of our country at least is to have a gov that will stand up and be counted for what it belives in. Say it, mean it, stand by it. NO BS. GWB may not be perfect, and I'm pretty sure nobody posting here is (I didn't see J.C. on the members list) but at least he has the courage and fortitude to stand by a decision and act upon it. You can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time, I honestly believe he's doing the best he can with the information he's being given, and staying the course of his convictions. That is something to be proud of by any standard. My dad always told me," A man is only as good as his word" From what I've seen, GWB is, and its a helluva lot better than what we had in Jean and Paul up here, so maybe cut the guy some slack, I'm pretty sure running the USA isn"t that easy of a job.

Jesus would advocate freedom; simultaneously he would strongly support personal welfare, but he would never force people to donate to the poor via government welfare or any form of socialism. That goes against doctrines of free will and the Great Commission.

Jesus was a libertarian with a big heart.


Actually, Jesus doesn't really give a hoot about what we do politically, as it is all missing the point anyways and he loves us all unconditionally, and it doesn't matter compared to our motivations behind what we do. But, I can still say that Jesus would be a libertarian, just for arguments' sake.

 

Let's not forget. Every invasion by ***** was @ Cristmas time every single year he was in office.
