Thanks for fighting in the Revolutionary War, Lary... we depend on old timer's like you!
Really though, my hat is off to the men and women that made this Country free... they paid with their blood, and the tears, hope and prayers of their families... in my house, you sacrifices did not go in vain.
Semper FI!!!!! MARINE CORPS!!!!!!!!

Thats just about perfect for me.
Thanks for all you guys and gals who are serving or have served and for those who might not have gone in but support our military even though you might not agree with some of the fronts we are fighting on (had to add that because I remember there actually being a few very good (but misguided IMOP) people during Vietnam who didnt like us being there but would fight to the death for our guys who were).
WoW! That was long winded.
Ummm, to summarize : Thanks again.
Some problems at the old folks home have been keeping me busy but now I am putting 30lbs of pork ribs in brine to start smoking tommorrow for Monday. They are going to be good. Also making mashed cauliflower to bake with cheese. Its good for people with Bsugar problems and tastes good when done right. Sigh, all I get tonight is a frozen corn dog but will make up for it on Monday.

Morning boys and girls. Have a great long weekend and hope you all survive the effects of over eating and over drinking.
Have had a smattering of rain here in Paradise, but only enough to consolidate the dust on the vehicles into muddy messes. Lots of thunder and lightening at times, but they are only threats. Everything is very brown and dusty here now.

Catching up from last week:
That's because the value has dropped like a stone, keep fighting.
Happy Birthday! Isn't this like the 12th time you've turned 49?
Hey!!!!!!!
I'm so glad I was finished with my coffee. Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!

Morning all.
Heck no... We're fighting with the other realtor. She refuses to have the farm appraised and we offered to pay for it. Afraid to loss commision I guess. The place has been on and off the market for close to 8 years. The couple that used to live there has moved to a retirement community.

Davey, are you related to any other members here at DTR?
Another joyous day in lovely New England... I WANT TO GO HOME!
Afternooner,
A/C dude came and fixed A/C unit. It was a blown capacitor. Quick fix.
Chaikwa ask "Davey, are you related to any other members here at DTR?"
Chaikwa, not as far as I know. Don't think anyone would clam me even if they were related.
Going to do baby back ribs for supper.

Those storms and tornadoes are headed north as I expected. Tornado watches over in Ontario. Last night they had them in Manitoba, the province to my east.
We have a 100% POP of rain tonight and tomorrow that has us set to get a minimum of 2 inches of it. Thats just not right.
We are saturated and here we go with more heavy rain.
Oh well. I got the garage shingled.
BBQ for my birthday here today. WOO HOO.
MMMMMMEAT...nice steak, chicken, corn on the cob, shrooms, salads etc.
My wife just took the truck to get 'something' for me for my birthday.
Its too big for her Jeep. hmmm, I am thinking compressor.
Hope everyone is doing well. Enjoy the week and make the best of it.
