Those storms and tornadoes are headed north as I expected. Tornado watches over in Ontario. Last night they had them in Manitoba, the province to my east.
We have a 100% POP of rain tonight and tomorrow that has us set to get a minimum of 2 inches of it. Thats just not right.
We are saturated and here we go with more heavy rain.
Oh well. I got the garage shingled.
BBQ for my birthday here today. WOO HOO.
MMMMMMEAT...nice steak, chicken, corn on the cob, shrooms, salads etc.
My wife just took the truck to get 'something' for me for my birthday.
Its too big for her Jeep. hmmm, I am thinking compressor.
Hope everyone is doing well. Enjoy the week and make the best of it.

Hey Sis! Glad you are having fun. Weather is supposed to start clouding up in a day or two and stay that way for awhile. Like I said before, some good light-weight raingear makes summers fun up here because we know its going to rain. PS: Do not ride the Moose, I will explain later.
Yes I do. Have gone through it a few times in my travels.
My guess was wrong. LOL
I got a real nice rolling tool chest and the smaller one to go with it.
I also got a new full set of mud flaps for the MEGA Mega.
And yes I did get a kitchen appliance.
A new food processor.
Everything is lock down and secured for the rain tomorrow.
My electrician buddy and I are going to wire up the garage tomorrow!
I had an awesome evening. I am lucky.

Good morning from a somewhat dusty Paradise. Another sprinkle last night. The rains are late this year and the mosquito's are becoming Alaska sized.
Happy belated birthday Scotty. You called yourself a lucky guy, but I think a better word could be 'fortunate'.
Heidi, I am jealous of your trip. Enjoy it to the max.
May the rest of you DTRonians have a great day, especially those fortunate to have the day off from the salt mines.

Do Pop Tarts go bad?
Morning.

On this day in 1783 - The first daily newspaper was published in the U.S. by Benjamin Towner called "The Pennsylvania Evening Post"
1854 - The U.S. territories of Nebraska and Kansas were established.
1868 - Memorial Day was observed widely for the first time in the U.S.
1889 - The brassiere was invented.
1896 - The first automobile accident occurred in New York City.
1912 - The U.S. Marines were sent to Nicaragua to protect American interests.
1922 - The Lincoln Memorial was dedicated in Washington, DC.
1943 - American forces secured the Aleutian island of Attu from the Japanese during World War II.
1958 - Unidentified soldiers killed in World War II and the Korean conflicts were buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
1989 - The "Goddess of Democracy" statue (33 feet height) was erected in Tiananmen Square by student demonstrators.
1997 - Jesse K. Timmendequas was convicted in Trenton, NJ, of raping and strangling a 7-year-old neighbor, Megan Kanka. The 1994 murder inspired "Megan's Law," requiring that communities be notified when sex offenders move in.
2003 - Peter Jennings was sworn in as a U.S. citizen.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Do you realize that in about 40 years, we'll have thousands of old ladies running around with tattoos? And RAP music will be the Golden Oldies.
is ready.

Morning all. Counting down, less than 24 hours to go.

Reminds me of a mishap in my twenties where a couch was sliced. Get pix.
Oh go ahead. Not much else could go wrong. On my way now to get a new A/C for the office trailer here. Came in this AM to find out the old one had decided to not work anymore. This oughta be fun considering I have no tools here and I'll have to adapt a now smaller window unit to fit into the hole that the old one takes up, which is much larger because it's so old. Did I mention I had no tools with me?
