Well, at least the truck isn't broke down. Sorry about the no tools issue, that Hoovers. I guess you couldn't get lucky enough to have just popped the breaker.

Morning folks,

A solemn and reverent Memorial day to all.

Gonna put the A/C units in, its been hot and humid here. So much for spring.

Hooking up with some fellow riders, going to the Federal Cemetery to pay our respects then off for a ride then back to the homestead for some grilled sausage patties, burgers and dogs with all the fixins.

A Heart felt THANK YOU to all whom have "been there and done that", and to those whom are "over there and doing it".

Forever in my thoughts and Prayers.

Enjoy the day boys and girls.

No, the fan runs, no compressor. It's at least 100 years old... kinda like you.

No tools? So! Now is the time to do your best MacGyver impersonation and show us just how good you really are.

Forget it Stan, Scott is a pumpie, they have no idea what tools are, and even if they did, they would never have any with them.

He will try to splain it to you, just be patient with him.

And I will splain it to you that an ax, pike pole and 'The Can' aren't really tools! At least none that I can ever find any use for and especially today.

Stan, a 'Truckie' is one who 'works', (and I use that term VERY loosely), on a ladder company, or ladder truck, hence 'Truckie'. They generally carry a cute little water can with them and if they can't put out the fire with that miserable little amount, then they turn the real work over to us guys with the REAL volumes of water! Once in awhile a Truckie will make a rescue, (usually more by chance than practice), and this is where they get their notoriety from.

Sure they are, you could have taken the ax to the air conditioner thus relieving your anger. Then once it caught fire you could have used the can to put it out, then the pike pole to hold the door open to vent.

Told you so, na na na na na. Oh boy it's on now.

Mid afternooner all,

Thanks and a salute to all those in service now or in the past.

Mid 90's today in Cypress. My air conditioner got fixed yesterday. Chiakwa, no fun with out AC. Did you get the little unit in and running? Chill man

Found an A/C forum, maybe I can learn more out the workings and do simple repairs. The have a complete parts store.

Last night the BBQ baby back ribs were tender moist and tasty. Boiled them for about an hour in apple juice, the low heat 250-275 on the gas grill. Took them off when the marrow at the end of the bone was bubbling.

Got a few chores in the job jar. #1 fix iced mocha with the ph00 and thing about the rest of those in the jar.

Have a good un enjoy the day, and be safe out there

Oops, did I inadvertently stir the pot?
Tim, thanks for cautioning me to be patient with Scott. Will try to do so. Does that also mean that I need to s-p-e-l-l s-l-o-w-l-y and use one syllable words?
