Scotty - we missed the snow last nite, it only got down to 2C. There is a big chance for temps below freezing here between now and next Friday. REALLY??? It is the first week of June. This is nuts. Finally got the garden turned over, tilled and harrowed today. The spuds, onions and other seeds go in tomorrow. Green stuff like zukes and cukes will have to wait another week. We are really running short of growing season now. In a non-weather related topic, the wife and I bought an amazing Charolais steer at 4H auction last Sunday from nieghbours daughter. Did the same last year and the beef was amazing. The stuff in the stores just doesn't even come close. Plus it is so nice to suppport the local kids.
