My husband owns a Chev. Diesel. I am looking to buy a vwewhicle for myself, and I am seriously considering a truck. My husband is a true Chev. man, and so that is why I am checking out the info here. As he does not even want to start the Dodge conversation.

You say that you live on a farm where it gets 40-50 below 0 and snows a lot. How is a Pontiac Solstice or Saturn Sky going to help you in those conditions? You have also said that you often tow big loads. What are you using to do that now? And again, why the Pontiac and Saturn for that need? And before you couldn't afford a new truck but now you can? Just adds to the confusion.
First off, if you would read all the info. carefully you would see that I have stated that we already own a Chev. Diesel. And we use it for all our farm use. I am simply looking for a vehicle for myself. I like my sports cars, and that is why I am looking at a Soltice, and then Sky as well as a Dodge Diesel. I stated before that I would buy and older truck due to fact that I thought I would be looking at $60,000 + for a brand new one. But, after visiting the Dodge site, where I got to view the costs off all the new Dodge's I see I was way off in the prices. I am currently asking for opinion's on all 3 makes of vehicles. To weigh the pros and cons of all of them, before I make a final decision. It not like I can afford to buy a new vehicle, and then find out I am not happy with it, and then lose money on it. So, I want to be sure I have got all the info. on all the vehicles I am looking at. Secondly, you comment about being a "Troll in need of attention" was totally uncalled for. I could be a complete Edit, and say something rude to you as well, but I do not feel the need to insult somebody that I do not know. Next time read all the information, and check out the profile as well, before you decide to run your mouth off.

Absolutely no need for you to insult anyone in this manner here.

I would have to say the CDT, but I am partial. You can always mod the Cummins to be just as fast if not faster than the little sports cars.

If you want some stories, there are some good ones over here

I have one and there are a couple of other good one over there. Of course, I didn't think this thing could be this quick! Also if you get a CTD, then get the correct mods, your fuel mileage will stink until the newness factor wears off. I got a spring to help bring my RPM's up a bit last wednesday, I will be lucky to get 10 mpg vs the 16 because I can't keep off the skinny pedal!
