Re:Gun Laws

Way too close to home. I'm not as strongly involved as some others in possession. Fired expert in the military but skills not maintained are not skills at all. You know what they say about the Air Force weenies. They're right for 75% of 'em. That's my group. HOWEVER, all that being said, .............

~Dave

I agree with Top. I thought I was on the Handgun Control Inc. web site. The bad part is they REALLY believe that stuff.

Chris

Re:Gun Laws

Well I think that the author of the page I pointed to is not too serious a believer in gun control..
Actually I am not opposed to gun control. I think that it's a right to own them unless you have proven to be unreliable. I think that a person who is irresponsible enough to drive under influence of drugs or alcohol shouldn't be allowed to own a firearm. Or people with a criminal record. I think that it's ok that the state controls how you keep your guns so that they don't get into the wrong hands etc.
That's what I think should be called gun control- opposed to indisciminatingly banning guns.

I feel the soapbox swaying ;D

Re:Gun Laws

I like my guns. And if anyone thinks that I'm going to willingly give them up cause some egg head doesn't like them needs to be shot. : Now, with that said, I'm a firm believer in gun control. But don't you dare start to tell me that guns are the root of all evil and without guns, there would be no crimes. That's plain stupid. You could destroy all the guns in the world and criminals would still find a way to get hold of them. Unfortunately, that's the way the world works.
