That is pretty cool. Everything is going high tech. I wonder if you can bomb it (ditch the 9V battery and chose your own voltage ;D)<br>Also, if I remember right, the Phalanx (CIWS, close in weapons systems) gun on board navy vessels fires it rounds via electronic charges. That is how it achieves its amazing rounds per minute count.

The CIWS is nothing more than a Gatling gun. Multiple rotating barrels give it the high rate of fire. I think the primers on the 20mm round are electrically fired. The base gun has been used in the Vulcan system, Spooky and Puff, and numerous other aircraft. The thing that makes the CIWS so effective is the fire control system. The radar and fire control computer computes where to fire the rounds so that the target and projectiles meet at the same place.
