Got a new project!
I bought a 1981 Chevy c70 from the owner of my storage buildings. The owner of the truck skipped town on his rent and the storage guy pulled the box off the back so all's it is is front cab and 30' of heavy duty frame. Its got a 366 big block/5speed new process trans and a huge 2 speed rear end. I got it running for about 15 seconds then the carb float stuck and started spittin gas everywhere. I should have it rebuilt in a week or so but the moter sounded great and dident smoke. Anyways I paid $300 bux for the whole tamalie but now im not sure what to do with it. 1-pull the moter, trans and cut the rest up for scrap and double my money back. 2- Fix it up and put a flat bed on the back(maybe 10 foot or so) and move the rear axle up. 3- Fix it up, take a long bed chevy bed with dully fender and move the axle to line up with the wheel wells, maybe eavin graft another 6' bed to the 8' bed and have a 14 foot bed. Im thinking a 12v cummins with my 6'' turn out stacks will go behind the cab none the less. What do you guys think other than im out of my mind! It kinda looks like this with no tankhttp://images.traderonline.com//img/...mb_550x410.jpg

There is some rust on the front clip but the cab looks great and has the small rear window. Bottom of the doors has a few holes but for that year those doors are a dime a dozen. Yea fixing it up and selling it wouldnt be a bad idea. The tires are so so and are pretty old but still hold air.

haha Hey its got the frame to handle it lol. Put a ff 14bolt in the rear and dana 60 up front with some 38'' swampers and a divorced np205 transfer case. Would be a hell of a rig, actually that sucker could be mean. Keep it simple with a flat bed and a pto winch in the rear. Hmmmmmmmmm
