Got carded at Wal Mart tonight trying to buy DieselKleen fuel system cleaner > ...the machine beeped at the checker and she promptly requested to see my I.D...i couldn't believe it, i guess these punk kids try buying this stuff to start fires, not that this stuff is flammable or anything right? all that seems to roll out of my pipe is UN-burnt fuel

I got carded for brake cleaner one day(I was 17). I looked at the lady and said, "Mam, if kids want to snort this stuff then let them. They'll get what they deserve." She looked at me kind of funny and put the can in the bag.

I guess you gotta be at least 18 to buy it.. ..i mean what if someone had sent their kid in to get it for them while going into another store? i mean jeez, i hope this is just here in cali that's doing this

Im 17 and I bought couple quarts of DieselKleen before and they never thought about card'n me. It too was a Wally World. (Walmart)

 

I don't think it's for starting fires. I think it's for sniffing. I don't know why someone would sniff it, but I guess if you're looking for a cheap high anything will do.

I went to the local Dollar General to buy some red spray paint to touch up some places on my gooseneck trailer and she asked me if I was 21. : :
She said kids are buying this stuff and doing other things than painting with it. I won't say what so not to give anyone ideas. That is really sad.

 

Same thing happened to me a few months back, she asked to see my id for the diesel kleen and then asked to see it AGAIN since I was paying via card. I was like didn't you just see it 30 seconds ago?

Its only happend once tho.
