I didn't know what to expect but I didn't think It would have that much power...It idles perfect, with just a little haze, and spins the tires on dry pavement at WOT...But it does smoke quite a bit at WOT...I can live with it, but I'm sure it would get better once I'm schooled on adjusting the pump...the installer made good on his error as well...JIM, thanks for bailing me out on this one you'll be getting something from me in the mail in a few days...I really appreciate it...thanks for getting me the injectors Don I'm very happy with everything...It sure feels like more than 60 HP...

I dont see a big exhaust in your sig claw. Before i changed my exhaust i couldnt even think about turning up the pump. There was just too much smoke. Now with the big PooPoo pipe on i have the full fuel screw in 2 turns and it is awesome with not much smoke. I bet if you can allow the turbo to boost more (exhaust) it will kill some of that smoke.
O and im glad the turbo worked out for you. It was good for me when i had it. Im glad to see it back in service. Im anxious to see what change in your fuel mileage occurs- better or other.

Did you install this one? I'd really like a 5" but I can't find one...

Yep, thats the one, but i didnt buy the downpipe or the muffler. It sounds awesome that way. If you have the stock exhaust and you think your truck is fast now? Wait till you put the pipe on. 5" is too big, it lets the exhaust cool down and lose velocity. Go for the 4. You will watch the smoke dissapear.

Claw,

Glad to see they are working good for you. Everyone that has that newer style EDM nozzle really likes them so far. As far as power goes...Im not certain what they make in every combination of parts on the 1st gens but I know they are at least 60 HP and perhaps more in some trucks. If you can keep the pedal off the floor the mileage will increase as well.

The cool thing is....there are even larger ones for the guys that really want to turn the wick up

Jim, I have several power levels. IN 5 HP increments. Claws are about 60 HP. Conservatively. There are larger, but the smoke will go up. The smaller turbos and exhaust housings will not run cool EGT's once you get to the 70 HP range and up. At least that is my limited experience.

Jim,
I'll have the 4" pipe and the Pier's HX35 in tomorrow so I'll give you an update...I'm expecting good results, judging by how the injectors have performed so far...I'm driving a 5000 pound rice killer

My best friend had a 1998.5 4x4 quad that he bought new. After he paid it off, he sold it to me and bought a new ford with the 300+ hp new diesel. He said he needed more power. Well i kept it for awhile and sold it because i was afraid of all the electronics and bs and wanted to concentrate more on my 92'. My goal is to pack the poo on that new ford and teach him a lesson. He needs to come back to the right team. Plus he paid $45,000 and it would be pretty insulting to have an old dinosaur rip him up. lol. I just have to finish the construction on my house so ive got the dough to put back into it.
