There's and old 1890s abandoned lodge down by Springfield lake that many say is protected, haunted or whatever you want to call it by a native american Skinwalker. It's called Winoka Lodge. And we also have the Albino Farm in Springfield that many say is haunted by the past owners. They use to have a page on the Underground Explorer website called "haunted places" that detailed alot of the places the guys had went to in this area that odd things had happened. They have went to places like the old early 1900s TB sanitariums, Monte Ne in Arkansas and other old sanitariums and mental hospitals that were abandoned in the early 1900s but are still standing. Alot of the older generation that are now gone deeply believed in haints and other things and also believed that some folks were more in touch with the other side than their neighbors.

Strange things happening.

A few months ago a girl I had raised from a baby had gotten married last year to an Army Ranger and he had gotten killed, anyhow I had just come back from his military funeral and I was leaning against the back of the couch telling my wife about it when something bumped into the side of my hip hard enough to knock me off balance, she saw this as I has to regain myself. Weird..

I frequently feel something of someone brush into or against me in our house; it is usually lightly and feels low like below your waist.

I had back surgery back in 1987 and during the surgery I was watching myself laying on the operating table and all of the people around me from what seemed to be about 15 feet in the air. I could see everything in detail and watching them working although they did not seem alarmed. The entire event seemed like it lasted maybe 5 minuets and then I felt the anesthesiologist shaking my arm saying “time to wake up”.

Another time when I had broken my nose and was having it operated on once again I was able to watch myself laying on the table in the operating room and the strange part about this one is I watched the doctor when he took the chisel and hammer to start breaking the bone and at that instant I woke up from the anesthesia and tried to grab my face, I remember saying OUCH and the nurse grabbing my arm and it seemed it took a few seconds before I went out again. I do not remember watching myself after that but just waking up with a terrible migraine headache.

I have worked in a few hospitals and in some of them it is practice to put signs or objects that you could not possibly know they were there, up high on top of the equipment that could only be seen from high up near the ceiling for in the event someone has an OBE and might have seen it.
