ghosts-psychics

do you believe in them? i normally am a level headed guy, but recently i had a "visitor" in my basement. i have had multiple occurrences of "hearing things" down there. do to these "noises" i have been videoing my basement. as i type i still don't believe it but you can clearly see movement. my wife, and her brother have seen the vid and agree.
now I'm not talking about seeing a ghost, but rather movement ( of exercise equipment) caused by one. i know i am not crazy, or drumming up stuff in my head. and i know how it sounds, but this is real. all i have is my video for proof( which is my only recourse for not thinking i am nuts).
again, i know how it sounds, but please, i am being COMPLETELY serious about this. this "issue" has me both fascinated and troubled at the same time.
i did try a median to "see" what he can "see'. now this person is a good friend of my brother in law. he was only given my address, NOTHING more. his findings were that 3 'entity's' are here. but what disturbs me is his description of my wife-it was spot on. if i disregard all of what he said as being fake, i can not with ignore what he said about my wife. there is no way he could have known her traits and other stuff about her.
the answer schould be simple, but it's not, what do i do?

sorry so long. but (at risk of attempted humiliation and complete incineration from flamers) i needed to get this off my chest

i don't know about ghosts, but i had a girlfriend a long time ago who would go to answer the phone just BEFORE it rang. me and a buddy were going to look at this 'smokey and the bandit' firebird that i was thinking of buying, and we had to drive pretty close to where she worked. i decided not to stop in and say high, and when i talked to her later that night she was furious that i had been so close and didn't stop in to see her (no one had told her where we were, or what we were doing). it freaked the hell out of me!

Absolutely ! I went with my sister to visit my grandfathers grave a few years ago. Well, my nephew was a few grave stones away and jabbering away like any 4 yr. old would jabber on.
We got back into the car and asked him, just on a whim, who he was talking to. FULLY expecting him to say he was talking to himself. Well, he said " That boy with the baselball jacket like Uncles" ( which is what he calls me ) My hair stood on end !!!

MY cousin committed suicide in 1986. He was buried right up a few headstones from my grandfather and was a huge Yankee fan like me. He was buried in his favorite Yankee jacket !!!!

He does stuff like that constantly ! I could tell many, many simular stories about his "abilities". It is totally freaky and I don't think he even knows that this is not normal. It doesn't sem to bother him at all.

No ghosts, no after life, no life beyond. When you are dead you are dead.

Well just from a logical stand point if there is a problem that you have with the on-goings in your basement then definitely see if you can get it remedied.

Do I believe in this type of stuff.....sure.

O.K. My sister was looking to buy a new house and took my same nephew (Jack) to a few open houses one day. He had no problem rummaging through the first 3 houses the looked at. Like any 4 yr. old, he was all over the place inside every one of the houses.

They went to a fourth house and when the owner opened the door Jack flipped out and started crying. he would not go into the house no matter what ! So, he got to stay in the truck with his dad while my sister looked at the house.
She asked the owner if anything strange happened in this house in the past and the owner said yes, The first owner died in the house and then her husband die in it two months prior!!

There are many things we as humans do not completely understand. When I was a kid growing up, a guy who lived over the hill from us was what my dad refered to as a demon hunter. He had a big cross nailed to the front of his house and he really seemed off his rocker, however he was a very nice guy. My dad was just an everyday joe, he worked 3 shifts in the coal mines, tried to be a good husband and raise his kids the best he could. We never went to church or read the bible we just tried for the most part to be good people. One night something put the fear of God into my dad, like a flick of a switch changed his live forever. He never said what happend but from that day forward we started going to church and he would read us bible stories every night before we went to bed. He became friends with the "demon hunter" they would get together a few times a week to read the bible and pray. Sometimes they would go out and try to help people with their "problems" and sometimes I would tag along, I was young at the time maybe 7yrs old. Most of the time when I was there nothing would happen........but one time... it did and it put the fear of God into me. This wasnt something a young kid should have experienced and later on in life I asked my dad why he took me there and he said "boy.....this is something I need you to remember for the rest of your life" well it worked. So the only thing I can say is... there is more out there than most people know and I saw it first hand. Guess Ill sleep with the light on tonight......thanks dad.

same girlfriend as previous post- one day she starts crying out of nowhere. i'm like, what's wrong, but she said nothing and keeps crying and sobbing harder. a few minutes later the phone rings with the news that her best friend has just been in major car accident and had to be rushed to the hospital (insert twilight zone music here).

In a house we lived in here in Houston, go to a part of it and could here muffled voices. I heard them and wife would here them. Not all the time, could make out some of what was being said. For a while I thought my cheese had slipped off my cracker. Did not mention it for a while, when I did wife said she also heard them there.
When we were on a cruise on the Mississippi river and as part of a tour visited an old court house. Even tho it was warm in there, I got chilled to the bone, and had a tingling in the back of my neck. At the end of the presentation the guide said the court house was haunted.
Just of few of the highlights of odd going on.
