Ford Truck wheel question - what fits?
Ford Truck wheel question - what fits?
Sorry about the off-brand post, figured some of you would know though. I've been told (correct me if I'm wrong) that you can put the 8-lug Ford wheels on a Dodge, but you can't put the Dodge wheels on the Ford because of the center hole being smaller. Does anyone know where Chevy stands in this? Anyone know what size the Ford middle hole is supposed to be? I found some 8-lug wheels in the JY, I need some for my F-250, but I need to know if they're Ford/Chevy/Dodge...
Thanks!
Dave
Thanks!
Dave
the reason for the dodge rims not fitting on the ford is due to caliper clearence they will rub on the inside of the rims the newer chevy rims wont fit on either the ford or dodge without center hub hole modification so heres basically what will work any Pre-99 ford rim will fit on your truck but the factory dodge rim will rub on your caliper i beleive the gm rim will fit with the center hub hole modification
