Has anyone tried 18&quot; rims and tires on an 03 2500 4wd? <br>To me, the stock 17s and tires look just a bit small and the 315-17s look a bit too balooney. Also, I'd like to get a wider foot print for driving in the loose sand at Hatteras NC. Weld and others make lots of gorgeous looking 18s. Any one have any experience with these mods? Or maybe pics?! :P

 

I put 18&quot; rims and 35/12.50/18 BFG mud on my truck, the 2&quot; leveler kit tires rubbed on corner where mud flap would go when turning. Put on a 4&quot; lift, rubbed sometimes on front corner by bumper, trimed off black skirting at angle and that took care of it, but I think if you were offroading and bouncing a lot it would still rub unless you trimmed the bumper back some. Looks good without such a big sidewall and drives like stock. Don't know how to post pics, not too good on computer, sorry.
