Hola. Just finished lunch and a brief rest. Monday's are always a tiring day for me because I start very early and am on my feet from the time I leave home until I get back. No breaks either. Not complaining, because it is all for a good cause. Do bellyache a bit when I am asked to work on cars and vans as I do not like it. When I complain, the director of the orphanage just smiles and says; "but you are so good at it". Huge sigh!

Cougar, I feel for you. Tough times, but like Bob said, do not allow yourself to get bitter.

The day started very cool and there has been a really cool breeze all day. Still feels cool even tho the temperature is 27c.

Coffee time.

Staying home this morning and catching up on other work.

Stanadian, I'm married.
I don't think she can drive or cook.
I would be nice to have a driver though.

Oh wait a minute, were you referring to the truck?

LoL

Happy Wednesday all y'all and you 'uns. You will have to excuse me if I make a bit of a mess while doing a big old happy dance around the breakroom. Back on July 15th I lost my job due to company cutbacks that were made necessary by falling oil prices and the socialist provincial government that Albertans elected back in the spring. Well, I got a call on Monday afternoon and a job I have been working on getting since 2 weeks after I lost my previous job has come through. DW and I have been over the moon for the last 2 days. I start on Nov 2nd. About a week after I lost my job, DW told me that she could put up with me being around for a while but I better have a job before the first snowfall. I cut it close but I made it. There snow flurries in the forecast for this Saturday evening.

I am happy enough that I am not even going to rant about the fact that our federal election resulted in the Canadian equivalent of a Democratic federal government.

Cougar - so sorry about you loss.

Play safe everyone.

It hasn't slipped my notice that FiverBobo hasn't shared the recipe for the baked french toast yet

Sean - - - great news. I am very happy for you on the job situation. Tough when you don't know where or what. As for the recipe, you may have noticed, but you didn't see - - - I can't share the recipe. I got it as a favor from a pro chef and she made me promise to enjoy the results personally and with friends, but not give out the recipe. Sooooo, need to honor her request or she won't give me anymore of them. Sorry.

Long day, but got lots done. Lazy day tomorrow - - have to go help my blind neighbor across the street. I am his eyes and hands now. I have to work on his wife's computer quite often. She cannot figure when to say no on downloads. Wow she can mess it up.

Grabbing my last ph00 for the night and out of here............

Sorry to hear that I can't chat with you while I order parts from the DTR store anymore.
