Eighteen Wheels of Steel: Haulin'

How many of ya'll have played this? I started off with the cheaply made 18 WoS and Across America and liked it for what it was. Haulin is much better, many more details and alot more on the map. And I really like that I can have more than 1 truck, go to the garage and take my pick instead of having to sell my old one. And don't laugh, but honestly it helps alot with learning to make correct manuevers, and the importance of a jake brake on the big rigs. Absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a little fun!

I have Haulin, I play it once in a while. Fun game! Never played the first 18WoS so I dunno how it was compared to Haulin.

Haulin is the best one yet! I have played the other ones and they don't compare to Haulin. I see guys on YouTube have these custom trucks, stretched frames and stuff, I wonder how you get those?

I would look at the cheats on some gaming websites for them, it should be as simple as reconfiguring a few things. I agree Haulin is the best one yet.

On most the older ones the jake brake made noise but had no braking effect, now the new one has a air pressure gauge and is alot more realistic, you have to rely on the jake to stop you most the time. And the main thing that is worlds different is the mapping, there are more and better routes, and you get to deliver to more towns, manage contracts, get much better variety of trucks and more upgrades.

If you already have haulin, IMO don't bother stepping down to any of the others, this one has plenty of stuff to keep you busy for awhile.

Well mine has been working fine on Vista but some game downloads aren't working for them. They will operate on the normal XP and Mac. Sells pretty cheap on ebay.

Oh yes, MUCH MUCH better. Haulin is the best I've played, and I've played them all, even hard truck 2.
