yowza! lot of broken folks here, glad your sis was okay T rad!
yeah Bark, I thought you were in Nor Cal, with the tangerine talk. safe trip wherever the heck you are....
Madson, sent you a PM.
man, four years ago my son had his forearm sliced through and around the bone by a steel coil. all docs thought the worst and broken bones. no worries from him, nasty scars but only minimal limited motion with the back angle of one finger. all tendons, muscles and such severed. amazing thing, us humans.
50, 53, 50+ for fiver and bark. I am in good company! If I have one more doc say 'well, I 've never seen THAT before..." I may just start switching xrays and charts with T rad....
Is there such thing as a muscle bound 48 year old Canuck scotty?
nice 8 inch base layer of snow here and plenty of split wood near the boiler...
about 14 degrees here, nice and quiet. killer cat is back on patrol.

Its a blend of winter phat and muscle. Still more muscle then phat though. When my doc repaired my one arm he told me that its not often he works on an arm bigger then most LEGGs he has repaired. My wife uses her LEGG as a measure for me when she sees a shirt I might like when she is out shopping. She holds the sleeve to her thigh and if it goes round quite a bit..she knows it will fit me.
Time for my beauty rest. See ya in a few yrs.
I dabbled at a new concoction for the Pho00. Added some ether and a shot of Lidocaine for a nice edge to it. MMMM Mmmmm Mm m m

Most people his age do 53 in the fast lane!
Morning all.
Today is Monday.
That's all you get today. I don't have my own 'puter today and I'm teaching off-site, so deal with it!
No coffee here either. And it's a catering/banquet facility to boot!
NOT in a good mood.

do you like being back on the road?
awww, no kawfee for the newahglander.....dry those tears with your hair and man up. hehe just kiddin' bro!
checkin' in another thread for some info...gosh this is a great site!! ya never feel alone when wondering if you should turn a wrench on something or if there is a secondary problem. great folks here!!!
got a notice that a calendar was printed. I got a check/will get soon a 'modelling-talent payment' for 21.36 cents. This was fifty dollars minus taxes in two states and federal gov surcharge fees. fun to think I was a model with my fireplug shape, 200 pounds. The experience was awesome. I was Miss May. no, not what you think.
ok, made lunch for the crew- feast up fellas: bison, grilled and marinated (had to compete with the chili cook-off) southwest chicken salad, bloomin' onion with bar b que dip, corn bread Lousiana style (creole, peppers, shrimp)
and peppermint tea cause it's too early to drink beer.

Insert waving hand here from UP HERE.
Bobby, when are you going to be running up to AK? Will you be near here?
I just might stick a bare LEGG out on the road and thumb a ride up with ya.
Have a great day fellow DTRonians.

Hey Mark, I blew both of those tendons. One was urgent surgery. They initially described it as accute tennis elbow. After the MRI they changed that to a ruptured tendon...I think it had something to do with the flexor muscles and the anchronius [sp?] muscle. Had it re-attached. The one in my left arm has started acting up again with all the shoveling I have been doing. Some days I feel fine...days like today...I feel like I am 48. Yep I be 48. My wife commented that I am holding my arm in a bent position. Thats where I feel the least amount of pain. [sigh]
Make sure to get the rest of it in today and tomorrow!
Huhuhuh... yeah... good to see you, DTR ma!
I'll take her word...
Afternoon, DTR. Just catchin up on some breakroom. May have sold my little flatbed trailer... dude says he's bringing money tonight. Not as much as I wanted for it, but money talks.

Thanks!
Go ahead and switch. It'll be easier for me to explain the missing parts than it will be for you to explain the additions.
After all the "kind" thoughts, I've decided not to have a 53rd birthday. I'm going to be 18, with 35 years of experience.
