So sorry for not getting back at you with an update on the twins. We have been bombarded.
Latest update on the twins. It was about 6 pm our time Wednesday when Jacque made that first call to us from the hospital to inform us of what happened. At that time the twins were on a gurney, both of them intermittently vomiting and then trying to drift off to sleep - - very sluggish and would not respond. I immediately called our pastor on his cell phone because I knew he was in a prayer meeting with some of our church people. I made two other phone calls, then Marian and I hit our knees praying for "our younin's."
At 11 o'clock Wenesday night, Jacque called and first words were "you will not believe what happened a little bit after I called you." The chopper landed, and a lady paramedic came in to see what who they were transporting. She talked with my son and Jacque telling them she was the only one available to come with the chopper meaning they could only transport one child at a time - - $25,000 per trip - - total - - $50,000. About the time Todd picked himself up from the floor, the doctor working with the twins hurried out to them all excited. Hurry, come look, you will not believe it. Suddenly both twins had aroused from their stupor, no moaning or groaning, sat up and looked around asking where is my mommy - - they were hungry and wanted to go home. Figure that one out. This is about 15 minutes after we, and others, started the prayer vigil for the kids. Don't tell me prayer does not help and that God does not care for us. Wow, it ran goosey bumps down my back - - but I am not surprised - - seen similar things so many times in my life including for myself. They took the kids on in to Seattle Children's Hospital in an ambulance to spend the night.
We received a call yesterday at 3 pm with an update of what happened at the hospital. They twins were absorbed with the trip in an ambulance to Seattle and asking questions and telling everyone they were hungry. At the hospital they ran all kinds of tests on liver, kidneys - - don't know what all - - trying to find any damage the pills might have caused. Nothing. They ate, they slept, woke up, had breakfast and wanted to go home. They were in their van during this phone call, all five of them, on the ferry heading for Whidbey Island and home.
Thank you so much for your prayers - - God is just amazing. Thank you Lord for saving my grandchildren from harm.

Thanks for the update. Absolutely no doubt about it, prayer works! Our God is soooooooooooooo good! Thank you Lord for answering the prayers for the twins.

Daughter has surgery on both knees at noon to get hardware removed from previous corrective procedures. 100% successful. Pray for safe and speedy recovery please. My wife and daughter are in a different city for this.
I'm getting a large 9" (and growing) by 1.5" wide by 3" deep hematoma drained today thats embedded inside my pectoral muscle. Urgent. More fallout from surgery in 2014.
We're not sure what's in this or why its there so Prayers for simple solution please.
We're putting the files together along with the results of this procedure for the next step, Mayo Clinic.
I'm getting a large 9" (and growing) by 1.5" wide by 3" deep hematoma drained today thats embedded inside my pectoral muscle. Urgent. More fallout from surgery in 2014.

Scotty, prayers said for both you and your daughter. May God guide and bless the medical staff that is attending both of you. Expect a report soon that your daughter is heading for a speedy and full recovery and a report that this new problem that you have can be quickly rectified with no long lasting side effects.

Maddi is in recovery and all went well.
not so good for me
The mass is coagulated and too close to my lung. Next week we will do a ultrasound guided aspiration.
Dr Dejager said he will do everything he can to get me to Mayo Clinic
Did bloodwork for infection
He was disappointed I'm not doing pain management so he changed it from dilaudid to Statex
I just don't like taking these narcotics

Good news on Maddi -- - praying for complete healing on that one.
Now, to you, big boy. You gotta behave yourself. That does not sound good at all. Mayo is an amazing place - - my father was there for 3 weeks many years ago. Praying for a final conclusion on this that is positive. Look up - - God be with you and support you.

Got a call from the surgeons office at 8 AM,meet him at the hospital at ten.
there is infection
should have an attempt on the ultrasound guided aspiration tomorrow. They aren't expecting anything positive. Next would be excision and debridement.
And pathology.

taking oral antibiotics, need pathology to determine if there's worse inside the mass.

Had 48 cc's of infected puss drained via catheter today. Some of the lab work takes 15 days (anaerobes), surgeon called at 830 this evening.
must do surgery and remove the large area of damaged tissue.
next week after the 29th and 3-5 days in hospital.

Scotty, What a mess. Does not sound like fun at all. Makes me want to quit doing any weight lifting - - well, forgot, compared to what you did, I lift tennis *****. ..............

Sheesh Scotty, that sounds horrible. Will definitely keep you in my prayers. Did the doc manage to discover the root cause of this mess and can you therefore do something to prevent something similar happening in the future?
The 29th is Memorial day, so is a good day to remember you in prayer as you head for hospital and the knife.
No further problems with Maddi I presume and that she is heading for a full and total recovery with zero future problems?

This is a pocket of infection going back to December 2014.
it was never detected til now.
its been a long haul since that 'doctor ' laid his hands on me.
the reason for removing is to find the cause and stop it.
necrotic (sp?) tissue etc etc.
