That there is good stuff. I guess maybe you need a bit of koppercoat in your blood to appreciate it though!

Talked to my old coordinator today, he told me things are starting to pick up and he may need some mwd and dd hands in the near future. Best news I've heard all year!!!!!

My company is down to 8 drillers, but new contracts are coming online as we speak so things should start picking up. I have a sneaky suspicion that they will watch things a little closer this time!!!!
G'night Matt
Night Shift on deck, fresh coffee brewing, wait for the Klaxon to sound and the cooling water to drain before opening the Coffeemaker...

Mom does NOT look happy! What in the world did you SAY to her?
Nice pics tho Matt. You two make a nice lookin' couple.
Morning all.
Today is Friday, October 30th.
On this day in 1735 - John Adams, the second President of the United States, was born in Braintree, MA. His son became the sixth President of the U.S.
1831 - Escaped slave Nat Turner was apprehended in Southampton County, VA, several weeks after leading the bloodiest slave uprising in American history.
1875 - The constitution of Missouri was ratified by popular vote.
1893 - The U.S. Senate gave final approval to repeal the Sherman Silver Purchase Act of 1890.
1894 - The time clock was patented by Daniel M. Cooper of Rochester, NY.
1938 - Orson Welles' "The War of the Worlds" aired on CBS radio. The belief that the realistic radio dramatization was a live news event about a Martian invasion caused panic among listeners.
1943 - In Moscow, a declaration was signed by the Governments of the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and China called for an early establishment of an international organization to maintain peace and security. The goal was supported on December 1, 1943, at a meeting in Teheran.
1945 - The U.S. government announced the end of shoe rationing.
1961 - The Soviet Union tested a hydrogen bomb with a force of approximately 58 megatons.
1961 - The Soviet Party Congress unanimously approved an order to remove Joseph Stalin's body from Lenin's tomb.
TV time! Talk to you all later.

Mornin" All!
Back in the slammer again.......
I actually got a second cup of coffee outta the pot today before all of the sergeants and admin staff drank it all up. Yesterday was horrible. I'd brew a pot and when I turned around, it was all gone. Made about 6 pots and only got a cup or 2.
I don't mind sharing but man you would think the guys in the higher paygrades could pitch in once in a while....... Might have to give up caffeine again for a while.

Thats the colorful response I was thinkin you'd give!
It wasn't what I said...she was mad at my brother for running late.
JUst use one of Scotts socks instead.
Yeah it went very well. Mexico has alot of pretty spots and they know how to relax there! The water and beach look like they came out of a corona commercial. We're already thinking about planning a vacation next year to go back to Riveria Maya.
Morning DTR. It started raining last night and is still raining now. Got some standing water in the yard in a few spots. The sump pumps are running every other min. I think we have enough rain now. Parts for dads honda should be in around noon. Gonna put that back together then meet the wife for lunch since she is out early today.

No it wasn't!
Just got back from the TV station... Michael was on. Jake was on. They told me I had a face for radio and made me stand off to the side.
One more BIG event tomorrow, then fire safety stuff is done for awhile. I think. We'll probably give away upwards of 5000 smoke alarms tomorrow and countless 9 volt batteries.
Raining here now, HARD. Got to go pick up around the sawmill and bring in the water lube jug as it's supposed to get cold tonite and I don't want it to freeze.
Later,
chaikwa.
