Thanks Rick, I just added one more. Still haven't heard anything from him or other. Very worried about what happened today in Afgan. He is a pilot for the 160th special opps CH-47 E.. Same kind involved with the DEA crash

Wow, what happened to our night owls last night? And the breakroom is soooo clean - - do we now know who messes it up all the time?? Naw, that couldn't be right.

OK, fresh coffee on, ph00 (hazelnut cream - - - ummmm yummm), hot water for Claude - - fresh sprinkles on the counter.

Now GET OUT OF BED SLAGGARDS - - - HIT THE DECK!!!!

I think it's safe to say that we're all thinking of/praying for him Eric. Keep us updated.

Class went pretty good yesterday Heidi. No one fell asleep or started making problems. One of them even seemed to be interested!

Today is Tuesday, October 27th.

On this day in 1659 - William Robinson and Marmaduke Stevenson became the first Quakers to be executed in America.

1787 - The first of the Federalist Papers were published in the New York Independent. The series of 85 essays, written by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison and John Jay, were published under the pen name "Publius."

1795 - The United States and Spain signed the Treaty of San Lorenzo. The treaty is also known as "Pinckney's Treaty."

1858 - Roland Macy opened Macy's Department Store in New York City. It was Macy's eighth business adventure, the other seven failed.

1878 - The Manhattan Savings Bank in New York City was robbed of over $3,000,000. The robbery was credited to George "Western" Leslie even though there was not enough evidence to convict him, only two of his associates were convicted.

1880 - Theodore Roosevelt married Alice Lee.

1904 - The New York subway system officially opened. It was the first rapid-transit subway system in America.

1925 - Fred Waller received a patent for water skis.

1927 - The first newsreel featuring sound was released in New York.

1938 - Du Pont announced "nylon" as the new name for its new synthetic yarn.

1962 - The Soviet Union adds to the Cuban Missile Crisis by calling for the dismantling of U.S. missile basis in Turkey. U.S. President Kennedy agreed to the new aspect of the agreement.

1978 - Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin were named winners of the Nobel Peace Prize for their progress toward achieving a Middle East accord.

1994 - The U.S. Justice Department announced that the U.S. prison population had exceeded one million for the first time in American history.

Hmmm, slow night in here last night and slow so far today?

Cincy, Ill say one for your brother, hope all works out well.

Not much happening today, gonna work with a 3 yr old paint I got in for training this afternoon once it warms up a bit, and maybe try and clean the shop up some, I think every tool I own is scattered across it Im one of those guys who cant work without getting every tool in the box out!

Bob, the new manager is a gal I worked with years ago on the Sheriff's Dept, and following a bad incident, I recommended her for, and she received, disciplinary action, and my guess is she hasn't forgotten...

Oh well, Stuff happens...
Think I need more coffee and maybe some of the oatmeal raisain cookies the BOSS made last night.. they're supposed to be for her office, but if Im very very quiet, I think I can get a few...
