So I went to my Chiropractor today who is a big Ford fan and has a really nice F450. He also happens to have a VERY NICE Shelby GT500 SVT with every upgrade possible. I always joke about taking care of it for him and today was no different. After he finished my adjustment he says, "You want to take it for a spin?" I'm sure the look on my face said it all. I was like, Heck yea I do are you serious? He said "Let me get the keys"
Long story shot, that car is amazing and an absolute blast to drive. If I owned it, I would lose my license and be in jail within 6 months!

That is probably more like it. 550 supercharged HP and the 6 speed make that thing a freaking rocket.

I agree, 6mths is way too long. I had to sit myself down earlier this week and give myself a good talking to. I took DHs Charger out for a spin after I moved vehicles around when I mowed and edged the driveway. Car only has the 5.7 Hemi and a Diablo Predator w/ a K&N intake on it. But holy beans, its easy go get a little crazy after running around calm and easy with the truck.

Very true. He is one of the best Chiropractors in the entire area. He has lots of toys! I have asked him to adopt me but so far he says no!

That would be a lot cheaper in the long run

I would love to drive a fast production car to see what is like... I wonder how it would stack up against my truck or vice versa...

Like our trucks, traction is key. I could break it loose in 3rd with little effort. It probably has some kind of traction control but I wasn't really looking for it. Didn't want to drive it too hard and wreck the darn thing

Next time I will see if I can get him to take me for a ride to see how hard it really pulls. You know..... in case of the whole crash thing!!

I don't have a traction problem... when I'm in 4wd and I've got the 37's on... well... not usually...

Don't be jealous Mark. Remember, it took me almost sixty (60) years to get that Vette! Heck, you have a darn good running Dodge CTD CR yourself and I have no doubt you will eventually have that sports car.

BTW, our friend Bobby Downes recently bought a used 2009 Nissan GT-R. I went for a ride in that thing the other day and have to say it was very impressive too!
