What fun. Wish they had ultras when wifey was pregnant. Didn't have that back in the dark ages. Our granddaughter goes in two weeks for one to determine the sex. She is giving us our first GGK. Mercy - - - how can that be - - I ain't old enough for that stuff. DW is quite excited. I asked why when you know what it means. Don't tell anyone about having a GGK, please.

Morning, just been pricing ball joints. Yesterday, I picked up the rest of my johnny joints, rod ends and bushings to finish up the long-arm build on the jeep. Contemplating taking advantage of Rancho's sale on shocks next pay period.

 

On days off here today. Going to cut the lawn first time this yr. Got the backyard about ready to be turned upside down for the new shop/pad/pool/garden/deck/hot-tub.
I thought my list was shrinking...nope...its bigger and has bigger items on it.
I guarantee that as soon as its all done, there will be another house in the plans and maybe another for sale sign going up.

Evening everyone. Was busy yesterday afterwork but I did get to check in briefly. Grandpa is now on morphine for pain, sounds like they are just making him comfortable till he goes. Mom said he was doing good this afternoon when i talked to her.

Wife and I are going to dinner with some friends tonight, I'm waiting for her to get home from work so we can leave for dinner.

 

Matt ,sorry hear bad news about your grandpa ,my great grandpa had parkinsons,it got to a point where went enough,NO more tough ol' buzzerd he died after 13 days of that what sucks is that i was there and knew what was going down , i didn't know how to handel it i only spent a half hour with'em out the two weeks.... by an by my phones on 24/7 if'in you wanna yak....even'in all jammi to some dead fineshed blastin' the coach today prim'in tomarrow...gonna name'er need some suggestions, i decided to name the engine after a friend of mine that i don't talk with anymore [long story ] i was thinkin for the coach "Miz Emma Lee" what'cha think not solid on it yet though , so if you want a rail car named after wife ,doughter ,or just a have a good name put it up lemme think on it ,well i'v run out steam ,M-A-S-H and iced tea on the way ,oh Matt congrats on landin' a good job there hard to come by now , well later

LD, it's hard but it's some that I've been prepared to deal with for a while now. I'll feel more releaved when grandpa is gone, all because he'll be in a better place and not suffering. Got a name for the railcar, maybe use the name Sarah Lynn after the wife. Thanks about the job, it's treating me pretty well. It's no railroad job but it's doing pretty well for me.

Thanks for the kind words and prayers Blake and Tim! I'm sure he'll be ther everyday for me even after he passes. Grandpa is that kind of person, even if he's dead and gone he'll still be there in some way shape or form to guide me.
