Dodge credit card
Dodge credit card
Anybody have any facts on this card? I got a letter in the mail yesterday on it. They claim you can earn points towards the purchase price of a new Dodge when you charge with it.
There is no phone # on the literature and the website they give, dodgecreditcard.com dosn't seem to work.
What I was curious about was what are points worth in $$$ towards a new Dodge?

Re:Dodge credit card
I got one yesterday, too. I was skeptical after looking over the literature. Something like "You can convert your points for dollars towards your new Dodge." Ahhhh....no thanks, I'll keep my GM card....... For my wife's new car, of course. :
. Along with my supplier discount it's an offer I can't refuse. ;D

Re:Dodge credit card
How come dodge doesnt have a card like GM? A DC card! I know my dad had a GM card and got as much as he could towards a new vehicle so a few months ago he bought a new Yukon. I want a DC card so when I am older, I can afford a new truck!! Do you think DC will ever come out with one?

Don't know. ??? Ford use to have a card. I applied $3200 from my GM card towds my Impala & I have a nice savings building now towards my future GM purchase. Rest assured it won't have the "beer can" diesel.

Boy howdy what a deal. I found the details. No wonder they are so vauge about it.
For every $1000 you charge on your credit card you get a $10 certificate towards a new truck.
Gm card wins this shootout.

Re:Dodge credit card
I got my Dodge credit card before I even got the truck - I had no intention of buying a GM product, so there's no comparison. I even got a picture of my new truck! I've been using certificates from it ever since to pay for service, and it's been just fine. My only quibble is, when I lost the card and got a new one, the new one is a picture of the Dodge ram symbol instead of a Ram.
Re:Dodge credit card
I have to say I go with the fuel cards on this one. 1% of all purchases go towards free gas (so $1000 of whatever = $10 free diesel)... and 5% of diesel purchases go towards free diesel (so $1.40 diesel really costs $1.33 -- BUT this only works when you pay at the pump... otherwise it's back to 1%. They do this because they don't want you to buy diesel with it but if you do buy diesel with pay at the pump they can't tell. haha.).

what is GM's payback/reward?
[/quote]
5% of purchases to a max of $700 something per year.
