credit card in hand (look out!)
thats right after seeing my buddys 600 light em up with the bullydog i need to wake up my 03 SO from its 2 year long nap! I am wanting some last minute opinions. Ive been thinkin the Edge EZ because of its popularity... i want the safest chip for my tranny towing and playing. i dont want in cab adjustablility because of the dealer being able to see that... so i guess i just need that extra pep talk to start this **** bug!

i just sold my ez for $150 because it was a gutless box that wasnt good for much except when it was stacked with something else. The EZ and powerpup downloader make a great combo and can be removed in minutes and will give you more power than your tans will handle. Let me know if you want an afe kit for cheap, I have a few laying around.

I have the EZ and although I like the extra power, you will not have the kind of power your friend has with his 600 w/ the BDDL. The SO w/ EZ makes a little more hp/tq than a stock 600.
Take your credit card and get a TST if you want to match or exceed the power his truck has...

should clarify, i deffinately dont wanna match my buddies 600 with bullydog, i just want some more power, nothing major but anything is better than this SO truck. i even like the power of a stock 600... just one thing i do not wanna hurt the tranny... no money to upgrade that yet...so with that in mind, now how do u think i will like the EZ?
oh and HO Cummins, who did u sell that to? i wish i would of known that i would have bought it off of ya since i live so close!

b4 ya go spend all your money, check the classifieds, always a few boxes for sale at great savings, that way you can afford a second bomb at the same time, like letting it breathe easier with all the added fuel for staters. in and out.

i have an EZ but its on a 600, not an SO. The easiest way to tell about the power is that it took nearly 3 seconds off my 0-60. it is definitely noticable. my step dad has one on his 555 and his also gave awesome gains.

Read my post about the new quad box, called Xzillarating, wish I knew how to paste posts, anyone want to teach me?
Anyway, the box is great, had an edge ez, i returned it, and now have the quad. You wont be dissappointed.

The ez was nice, but it was not in cab adjustable, and used fuel pressure and boost fooling to make power. My rail pressure is high enough as it is, and the 600's are already EGT challenged, which the ez increases. The quad adjusts timing, duration, boost, and minor fuel adjustments to make the power. Without my trailer on the back, the egt's were VERY close to stock with the quad box, I will see what the egt's are in 2 weeks next time I go camping.
