Countdown to Christmas Breakroom! Nov 29- 12 5th 2015

Good Lunch time!

cell phones are killing this thread. or maybe we are all too busy looking at cell phones.

got a call from a friend of a guy who worked for another guy, who painted my house. talked all buddy buddy to me on my private cell phone. wanted to hunt deer on the land. asked my about my holidays..... Are you kidding me? I can't believe what some folks will do for themselves off the skins of others. offer to cut firewood or something....geesh.

Better week coming,

lots of you looking forward to what is next to do!!!!
Christmas list wishes are asking for toys, not dishes
Plan on a few extra things, hopefully no rings.
Dodge parts are on sale, trim out or make bail.
with lights all aglow, cant be feeling so low
as not to get into the spirit, listen! can you hear it?!
it's Larry's heart growing! five sizes and glowing!!
Now dash away, dash away DTR all!

be better with moonshine instead of hot chocolate here in the breakroom.
dragon is snickering......

Late Start Breakroom

Couldn't find it, so here ya go. Not feeling up to making a big feed, so I left a stack of random gift certificates. Pick you a good one!

Spent the last couple of days going through family pictures dating back to 1800's. Found pictures of my Great Grand folks on the Sherod (adopted name) side of the Family. Still trying to figure out the bloodline, but making headway. Actually found a entry in a bible showing my Father's birth name and location. That was a family secret when I was a kid asking questions. Found he was born outside of Lodge Grass MT on the Crow reservation. Going to mail the certificate request and see what I find.

Looks like we each started a thread. Admin time!

I know about the 'friend of a friend" thing. I ended the conversation with a question about going to his house and seeing if he had anything I needed.

Two threads merged.

Weather was sunny and in the high 60's for the past few days.
Drizzle and 40s now.
Summer is gone.
Snowblower prepped, test fired, and ready for Old Man Winter.

Deer "Hunters"?
The locals like to run dogs through everyone's property in the country.
I've told them several times to quit running their dogs through my acreage.
I think I'll wait until they drop off the dogs, then go out by the pond and 'bump-fire' a magazine through the AR.

Have a great week.

Hi gang. Just in from church and lunch and dropped by to catch some ph00 and gossip. No ph00, so just look for gossip.

Weather is gorgeous here - - hope it is at least half as nice where you are.

I signed up on ancestry last winter. Family name dead-ends about 1815. From stories I've heard, it's likely the last one in line changed his name due to possible prosecution (or lynching). You could get away with it back then. No cameras, you just had to move far enough.

Bout time someone put the hammer down - - whole new life with her dictating every move. Oh boy, now the fun starts................................

Hey, you will enjoy the time together once you get the hang of it. Take some wonderful LONG trips. Buy an RV and see the US and Canada - - spend a summer in Alaska, next summer in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. You buy one and I will lay you out some amazing itineraries. I know where you could get a really nice RV. YEH.

Grabbing my ph00 - - -thanks Lary - - y'all have a great day.

Bob,

The first thing I am doing is to get rid of the cast iron skillet and buy an aluminum one instead....they don't hurt near as much and I can't duck as fast as I used to

I like your RV can you take a nickle down and a nickle a week?

Lary- Good Luck! I suggest that even aluminum stings a bit. Better go with the light weight camping gear! Also, do not on any circumstances, take your Bride by the hand and lead her to the kitchen. It seems when you point to the big cold box, the thing that gets hot, and the shelf where the hard steel pans live, things get a might bit tense. On the other hand, you get a chance to practice your sprint and zig zag techniques!

All good points Ed

I talked to the county Sheriff the other day and asked him what he was thinking giving her a carry permit?....bad enough I have to dodge the frying pan

I need to take a photo of the tree here she put about 20 rounds in with her .45 all inside of 3 inches and that is with a 3" barrel.

I taught her to shoot about 25 years ago...I must have been under the influence at the time
