Concern
Concern
I'm not worried about our Troops there in Iraq. I know they can handle almost anything thrown at them. What concerns me though is:

Where are the Iraqi military aircraft? There's no news report coverage on this. It seems the Iraqi generals are keeping them grounded for one reason or another. I wonder if they are hidden in underground and very concealed bunkers or if they have been flown to another country. Seems we would have tried to find and destroy any and all of their aircraft.

Another thing - the news has told us of the Iraqi military movement of an estimated 1,000 vehicles heading south. Its a good thing I'm not, but if I were in charge, every one of those vehicles would be smoldering rubble right now. I wouldn't give those people a chance to regroup and try to mount any type of attack.

Just my thoughts and concerns.

DW
Re:Concern
First of all, we own the air. The speculation I've heard on why they have not taken their attacks off the ground is because they know that the skies belong to us.

Second, unless you're referring to a second convoy that I haven't heard about yet, the convoy you're talking about was "blown into oblivion" by our B-52's. That's according to a Pentagon briefing I heard yesterday. Could be wrong though...

Re:Concern
In the first Gulf War, he quit putting his planes up as the pilots were defecting. I'm sure one wouldn't make it off the ground now, but it would be hard for him to have a special agent execute the pilot while defecting.
